Stage artists are not just mere performers on the stage; they are entertainers, visual talents, eloquent speakers and drama kings and queens. These performers may be also known as great speakers and hosts of shows that may either be in front of a live audience or the camera. Different artists have their own special venues to perform on, not all of them can do exactly the same thing as what the other can do.

Some artists perform well on a stage, with a live audience, as like in stage plays. Other artists can have problems with a live audience and perform better in front of a camera. A conversation literally means having an informal talk with someone on their opinions, ideas, and feelings or about everyday matters. While hypnosis involves placing someone in a trance and ask them to do things that they will not willingly do otherwise. So if there is no free will, where then is the conversation?

Actually, conversational hypnosis is simply a term for a specific technique in the use of metaphors, lyrical words, and implied meanings. When one is eloquent in speech, the pattern of the speech can become highly suggestive and the end result is the listener or the reader, can visualize what the words are trying to show the mind.

So if there were truth to the question of “Do stage artists use conversational hypnosis,” then the whole audience will go in a trancelike state and do exactly as the speaker asks them to do, and not remember anything after, or if they do remember, they get either embarrassed or awed. Stage artists awe the audience, may ask the audience to participate, but to force them? I don’t think so. Otherwise, the audience will simply resent and end up get hypercritical of the performer.
